After overcoming a forced one-year delay due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the Euro finally kicked off on June 11 in Rome.

Due to crowd size restrictions and the great distances between the 11 venues that have been chosen to celebrate the 60th (now 61st) anniversary of the competition, this tournament, more than any previous tournament, will be largely an event. televised, even for the most die-hard supporters of the games.
