The UEFA Champions League has a new home in Australia with Stan sport winning the exclusive broadcast rights to broadcast the world’s best club soccer competition for the next three years.

The Nine Limited-owned streaming service competes with Netflix and Amazon Prime in the entertainment market, but recently diversified its offering to include several sports.

Sports news examines everything you need to know about Stan Sport’s coverage of the 2021-22 UEFA football competitions in Australia – including how to watch, cost, competition dates, signed talents, and content offered on the whole service.

How to watch the UEFA Champions League, the Europa League, the Conference League and the Super Cup in Australia on Stan Sport?

After three years of showing UEFA football on Optus Sport, there will be some change for the next three editions with Stan Sport now the rights holder.

You will need to subscribe to one of Stan’s standard services first, before adding Stan Sport as additional plans (prices listed below).

There are many ways to watch Stan, the most common of which is through apps on smart TVs like Hisense, Sony, Samsung, or LG.

The service also offers desktop, phone, and tablet apps that can be downloaded, and you can either watch content there or use a media streaming device like Chromecast, Apple TV, Fetch TV, or Telstra TV 3 to cast Stan on. your television.

You can also watch through Stan’s website on phones, tablets, or computers through a web browser.

Does Stan offer free trials for their Basic and Stan Sport subscriptions?

Yes, if you are a new Stan customer, you will be eligible for a 30-day free trial for a Stan Basic Membership.

You can also get Stan Sport on a free seven-day trial once you have a basic membership.

Stan Sport is expected to start its coverage of UEFA competitions by televising the Super Cup between Champions League winner Chelsea and Europa League champion Villarreal on August 12 (AEST).

While it’s unclear whether they will present the Champions League playoffs in mid-August, the main group stage will start on September 15.

The Europa League group stage kicks off on September 17, while the new competition, the Conference League, kicks off on the same date.
