Focused Joe Aribo has put an end to any discussion about his departure from Rangers for the English Premier League.
After the summer window ended, Nigerian manager Gernot Rohr claimed Aribo was late for international service after being involved in transfer talks.
The Super Eagles boss said a club south of the border followed the playmaker until the very last seconds of the deadline.
However, Aribo has now poured cold water on his international boss’s statements, insisting he is only focusing on life in the Scottish Premiership.
Nigerian radio asked about his future Brila FM, the Rangers playmaker said: “I’m not focused on everything that comes outside of football.

“I’m just focused on what’s going on with my club, and me and my club so that’s all I care about and that’s what I want to do.”
He also praised Steven Gerrard’s impact on his career, having been deployed to several different midfield areas so far this season.
Aribo added: It helps me grow as a player.
“I understand different positions, what to do in certain positions on the pitch, so it’s really good for me and it helps me grow as a player.
“I want to add goals and assists to my game so I hope I can get as many as possible.”
