Men’s Tennis | Vandy heading to ITA Regional Championship


NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The fall season for Vanderbilt’s men’s tennis program continues Thursday with the start of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.

Eight Commodores will compete in the singles main draw, with the doubles main draw featuring four Vandy pairs. The tournament, which is co-hosted by Louisville and Bellarmine, will feature 23 area teams.

Singles and doubles finalists will automatically earn a spot at the 2022 ITA Fall National Championships, taking place Nov. 2-6 in San Diego.

Sites: Bass-Rudd Tennis Center (Louisville) and Eddie Weber Tennis Complex (Bellarmine)

Format: There will be a flight in the singles and doubles competitions, with a full singles draw as well

Program:
Thursday: Main draw singles, 10 a.m. CT; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Friday: Main draw and consolation singles, 9 a.m.; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Saturday: Main draw and consolation singles, 11 a.m.; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Sunday: Main draw and consolation singles, 9:30 a.m.; Doubles, 8 a.m.
Monday: Main draw and consolation singles, 10:30 a.m.; Doubles, 9 a.m.
