Alabama football and Texas A&M each placed four players on the 2021 preseason All-SEC squad selected by the USA TODAY Network team that covers the league to lead the selections.
The Crimson Tide was the unanimous choice to win the SEC West division and the overwhelming choice to win the SEC Championship. Georgia was chosen to win the East.
Alabama also had the Projected Coach of the Year in Nick saban, wide receiver player of the year Jean Metchie III and newcomer of the year as first-year defensive back Kool-Aid McKinstry.
