Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd investigate £29.6m, Arsenal Kante plan, Sterling medical | Soccer | sport

Things are indeed starting to get very interesting in the summer transfer window as Premier League clubs across the country start flying out on their pre-season tours. We are only four weeks away from the start of the new campaign, and for some teams reinforcements are desperately needed by then.

One of those clubs that need it the most. the new talent is Manchester United. So far this summer, the Red Devils have only managed to bring in one player in the form of left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord as fans start to lose patience. Still, reports indicate they are closing in on free agent goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha, although there may not be such good news regarding RB Leipzig striker Brian Brobbey, who now looks set to join Ajax permanently.

On the contrary, Tottenham have been one of the most active clubs so far, bringing in no less than five new players so far. However, they now have to sell to balance the books, and their abrupt decision to leave behind a number of previously important players from their tour of South Korea suggests exits are expected soon.

Across London there is good news for Chelsea as they agree a deal to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City. And with Arsenal, Newcastle, Everton and Leeds also expected to spend more money, there’s plenty to watch in the days and weeks ahead.
